Classic Cars, Hot Chocolate, and Community

Nov 10, 2025 | Community Updates, Featured

There’s nothing like the charm of a classic car. From the polished details to the stories they tell, these vintage vehicles remind us of a different time. On Sunday, November 16th, our community will host a car show featuring a beautiful selection of vintage and classic cars.

Guests are invited to stroll through the display, chat with car owners, and enjoy fresh pastries and warm hot chocolate. It’s a simple and relaxing way to spend the morning with friends, family, and neighbors.

The event will take place in our parking lot from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Come see the cars, share a cup of cocoa, and enjoy a pleasant Sunday morning at Crossings at Riverview.

I would like to commend the staff at Crossings at Riverview for their compassion and care of my father during his residency at this community. Each member of the team took personal responsibility to ensure that he received the best care and attention possible. This was particularly important to me because of the limitations that families have had regarding visitation during Covid. The staff also did everything possible to help all of the residents continue to connect through activities, even if limited due to distancing requirements and accommodated visitation schedules for family. I am so thankful to all of the staff, particularly, Pam, Andrea, Deandra, William, Fatima and Cynthia. I would highly recommend this community to anyone considering assisted living for their loved one

My mother was there for almost three years. I can’t say enough for the care and love she received from the staff. It was a sad day yesterday moving her stuff out now that she’s in her final chapter of life. So if your looking for a place that will take care of your loved one this is it.

My grandpa is a current resident here and I never knew nursing homes could be this nice! The building is beautiful they have a theatre room, barber/hair salon, billiards room, beautiful outside area for him to walk and so much more. I love visiting my grandpa here and the nursing staff is always so nice and accommodating with anything he needs. He seems to be thriving here too and only ever brags about how well he is taken care of which put me at peace of mind.
